Erik and I have been BUSY! Between work hiking, camping, entertaining our first guests and normal chores I haven't had much time to sit down and blog. I guess I'm not the regular blogger who enters a new message every day! Sorry, my computer doesn't need to see me every day nor I it! The outdoors is calling (so is work and the husband!). I'm actually off to work tonight in a couple hours so this will be short. When Erik's parents were here early June we had an opportunity to hike with them in Glacier on the Avalanche Creek trail, a 2.5 mile roling trail that anyone could do. It ended at a gorgeous lake surrounded by high cliffs and waterfalls. It had a lot of foot traffic on it since it was at the farthest open point in the Going to the Sun Road. (still clearing snow from the very top.) We got to check out some bear prints that some people were very concerned about. So we went to investigate and they were NOT grizzly prints but black bear and they were not very fresh. Anyway it was a great hike.
We also took them to Lolo Pass, (to see the blue "lake" of blooming camas) Garnet Ghost town and on some bike rides around town. Here's one picture from the hike. I'll post more soon as I can. Enjoy!
